Carlos Delgado was taking hacks in the batters box and Carlos Beltran was shagging fly balls at Citi Field before yesterday's Mets-Dbacks game. Beltran thinks he'll be back in mid-August, though he still has to rehab. Delgado has no idea. Either way, it's way too little and way too late to make any difference, but at this point you gotta take your positives where you can when you're a Mets fan.

Why bother comming back guys, the season is over !!! I paid good money for a 15 game package. I might as well flushed my money down the toilet !!!. No Carlos's & Reyes equals no runs & no support for Wright !!!. Omar & The Wilpons should have done something, anything during the trade deadline !!!. The Wilpons only care about the bottomline !!!
