That's what Robo is reporting, anyway:
The Phillies have reached agreement with the Indians on a trade that would bring them left-hander Cliff Lee and outfielder Ben Francisco for Class A right-hander Jason Knapp, Class AAA right-hander Carlos Carrasco, shortstop Jason Donald and catcher Lou Marson, according to major-league sources. The deal is pending a review of medical records
Can we just move on to the Phillies-Dodgers NLCS now? Wait: I'll handicapp it for you: Dodgers in 5, because Manny Ramirez will feast on what is now a supremely left-leaning Phillies rotation: Hamels, Moyer, Happ and Lee.
And save the comments: I'm joking about the NLCS. Everyone knows that the Braves are going to win the Wild Card and then sweep their way through the postseason and win the World Series. Why? Because they're awesome, that's why.
Sorry -- the trade deadline stresses me out sometimes and I have to retreat to fanboy mode.
UPDATE: Now that I'm back in sanity land, I'll note that by including Ben Francisco in the deal, the way is now cleared for the Tribe to call up Matt LaPorta, whose continued residence in Columbus was causing some folks no small amount of consternation yesterday.
