Ozzie Guillen, speaking Monday afternoon about White Sox fans clamoring for the team to call up top prospect Gordon Beckham:
The last thing we worry about is Beckham and I don't know why people in Chicago fell in love with this kid. He's a great player, he's going to be in the big leagues, he's going to be a big part of this organization pretty soon. But we don't have Beckham on our mind right now. I don't and I'm the one making the lineup. If we have Beckham here, we're in trouble.
So much for that. Beckham is in the White Sox's lineup this afternoon, batting eighth and playing third base.

Baseball is for wussies!
Gleeman is a Twins fan and a bias reporter. Everytime he writes about the Sox, his bias comes out. Pathetic hack.
If you actually took the time to read the article, Bill, or even noticed the use of quotes in the title, maybe you'd come close to understanding Gleeman's point. Unbelievable.
I'm a huge Phillies fan, living just a few miles from Philly. But don't ya just luv Ozzie Guillen.
Way to take a quote out of context, boys. The quote was "If we have Beckham here, we're in trouble." Now compare that to your headline. Then go back to journalism school.
how is that different. They do have Beckham there, so they are in trouble. Seems sound to me.
Uh, Ozzie said "If we have Beckham here, we're in trouble."
Now Beckham is there and according to Ozzie that means the Pale Hose(ers) are in trouble. Go back to your mom's basement.
