- Sabathia, Kershaw, Outman and De La Rosa are the lefties in the top 20. Outman is a real surprise. He was throwing this hard at times as a reliever last year, but it didn't figure that he'd carry it back to the rotation with him. If his command comes, he could prove to be a top-of-the-rotation guy for Oakland.

- Zimmermann's presence is also very encouraging, and it's one more reason fantasy leaguers would be smart to stick with him through his rough start.

- Missing from the top 20 is Tim Lincecum, who ranked second in the NL at 94.1 mph last year. He's currently sitting at 92.2, and he's actually down slightly lately from where he was at the start of the year. It's definitely something to watch.

- As long as we're at it, here's the bottom 10:

Tim Wakefield - 71.7
Jamie Moyer - 80.5
Graham Taylor - 83.5
Livan Hernandez - 84.6
Doug Davis - 85.1
Josh Geer - 85.7
Sean Marshall - 85.7
Mark Buehrle - 85.8
Chris Young - 86.0
Jeff Suppan - 86.5
