Dice-K is on his way back

Back soon

As if being four and a half back of the Jays and being unable to beat the Red Sox isn't enough, the Yankees -- and the rest of the AL East -- are about to have a bigger problem:

Even though he'll make at least one more minor-league rehab start -- Sunday at Columbus for the Pawtucket Red Sox -- Daisuke Matsuzaka says he's healthy and ready to rejoin Boston's starting rotation.

The right-hander, who was placed on the disabled list on April 15 because of a mild shoulder strain, worked 2 2/3 scoreless innings for the PawSox at McCoy Stadium Tuesday night. He recorded five strikeouts, two walks and hit a batter, while throwing a total of 47 pitches, 29 strikes.

Adding a healthy Dice-K to a club that is already clicking is not what the Rays and Yankees need right now.
