- It's not easy to find a starting pitching stat not topped by Greinke. He settles for second place here. He's also second to Haren in OPS against (.484 vs. .450).

- Two of the above pitchers have opposing SLGs over .400: Lilly and Uehara.

- Uehara also has the worst ERA of the group at 4.50. Next are Wolf at 3.93 and Garza at 3.82. Even though he's given up six homers, Lilly is at 3.13.

- Unlike some other Japanese pitchers, Uehara brought his outstanding walk rate with him across the Pacific. It'd be no surprise to see him end the year as the MLB leader in percentage of strikes thrown.
